Data Center Electrical System Engineer

Responsibilities

• Support customer communication and pre-sales project development related to data center facilities
• Output design drawings, subcontracting BOQ, and pre-sales cost inquiries/quotations
• Establish data center subcontracting resources in the local market
• Support procurement in subcontractor selection, technical communication, and cost evaluation
• Align project plans and technical requirements with customers, designers, and contractors to ensure smooth delivery
• Support on-site delivery if necessary

Requirements

• Proficiency in data center facility engineering (Electrical, HVAC, ELE, fire systems)
• Knowledge of main equipment including MV/LV switchgear, transformers, UPS, and chillers
• Ability to manage pre-sales opportunities, bidding, and post-sales delivery assurance
• Proficiency in European and Finland specifications and standards
• Proficiency in AutoCAD
• Willingness to travel frequently or work abroad
• 5-10 years of experience in data center design or consulting preferred
• Ability to design data center concepts and solutions

Preferred Qualifications

• Uptime ATD certificate
