Data Center Deployment Project Manager

About the Company

Fluidstack is focused on delivering massive-scale compute infrastructure for AI. The company acquires power, designs and builds data centers, and operates them with teams spanning hardware and software to accelerate the deployment of frontier compute.

Responsibilities

• Own deployment execution for assigned data halls and AI/GPU clusters from commissioning through operational turnover
• Track deployment milestones, critical-path tasks, and go/no-go criteria
• Coordinate on-site activities including construction handover, infrastructure, ICT, and hardware installation
• Manage and hold accountable OEM/ODM vendors and integration contractors
• Confirm commissioning and hardware-validation steps such as burn-in and GPU/TPU health checks
• Ensure clean operational handoff with as-built documentation and runbooks
• Surface risks, blockers, and schedule slips early to stakeholders
• Maintain program artifacts including schedules, risk logs, and punch lists

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience delivering data center, infrastructure, or large-scale hardware deployment projects
• Working understanding of the data center delivery lifecycle and commissioning levels (L2–L5)
• Experience coordinating vendors, contractors, or cross-functional teams on active sites
• Ability to travel to data center locations up to 50–60% of the time
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ownership mindset with the ability to operate in ambiguous environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with hyperscale or AI/ML cluster deployments (H100/B200 class)
• Hands-on exposure to commissioning (CxA), IST, or functional performance testing
• Familiarity with direct liquid cooling (DLC) or immersion cooling
• Knowledge of high-performance networking (InfiniBand, RoCE)
• Proficiency with project tracking tools like Smartsheet, JIRA, or MS Project
• Relevant certifications such as PMP, CDCP, or BICSI
