Data Center Critical Operations Manager

Responsibilities

• Own the uptime, reliability, and maintenance of all critical facility infrastructure including UPS, generators, HVAC, and BMS
• Lead and manage a multidisciplinary team of engineers and technicians
• Oversee operation and maintenance of advanced liquid cooling technologies like CDUs and RDHx
• Ensure compliance with safety standards including LOTO, NFPA, and OSHA
• Manage vendor relationships, SLAs, and budgets
• Maintain accurate asset management and maintenance records within CMMS

Requirements

• 5–10+ years of experience in mission-critical operations (data centers, hospitals, or utilities)
• Demonstrated leadership capability
• Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems
• Hands-on experience with liquid cooling change control processes
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and participate in on-call rotations

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in hyperscale or customer-facing environments
• Familiarity with Uptime Institute/TIA-942 and NFPA 70E
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical/military training
