About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of technicians through coaching, modeling values, and investing in their professional growth.
  • Oversee the operation and maintenance of critical data center infrastructure, including electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and generator systems.
  • Monitor equipment performance using telemetry and control systems to identify alarms and analyze trends.
  • Manage maintenance workflows using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) to track assets and work orders.
  • Lead onsite incident response teams during abnormal conditions and perform root-cause analyses.
  • Ensure strict adherence to safety and security protocols, including job hazard assessments and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Coordinate and supervise third-party contractors and vendors during onsite maintenance activities.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of experience in mission-critical services (e.g., data centers, refineries, hospitals, or manufacturing).
  • Ability to work night shifts and remain available on-call during non-standard hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to meet Microsoft and government security screening requirements, including background checks and reliability status.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in mission-critical services.
  • 1+ year of experience in people management.
  • Associate's Degree or technical trade certification.
  • Specialized expertise in electrical, mechanical, or controls fields.
