Data Center Analyst

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end data center infrastructure including power (UPS, generators), HVAC/CRAC systems, and fire suppression.
• Ensure 99.99% operational uptime through preventive maintenance, risk assessments, and capacity management.
• Monitor batch job executions via Control-M, investigating failures and performing necessary reruns or holds.
• Act as onsite Incident Commander during emergencies involving power, cooling, or network issues.
• Govern physical security standards, including badge provisioning, rack access control, and compliance with SOX/ISO 27001.
• Utilize monitoring tools (DCIM, SNMP, CCTV) to proactively identify and mitigate service degradation.
• Maintain detailed operational logs, dashboards, and technical documentation such as runbooks and DR plans.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Data Center Operations.
• Strong knowledge of power, HVAC, and fire suppression systems within a data center environment.
• Ability to work in a 24/7 shift rotation.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Site Scan, Alber, Lenel, Control-M, or ServiceNow.
• Experience with automation initiatives such as scripted monitoring or digital logging.
• Familiarity with ESG goals and improving Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE).
