Data/Automation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain internal dashboards, portals, and GUI-based tools for trading and operations teams
• Develop automation solutions to streamline manual workflows and improve operational efficiency
• Work directly with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
• Design and manage data pipelines and reporting systems using SQL and Python
• Contribute to full-stack development, including front-end interfaces and backend systems
• Partner with Operations to identify opportunities for process improvement and automation
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity across financial and operational reporting

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a similar field
• 5+ years of experience in software engineering or related roles
• Strong proficiency in SQL (data querying, transformation, and reporting)
• Strong proficiency in Python (scripting, automation, and data workflows)
• Strong proficiency in C# or a similar backend language
• Experience building full-stack applications, such as dashboards or internal tools
• Experience in banking, financial services, or proprietary trading environments
• Familiarity with financial products, specifically Bonds and Futures
• Ability to work cross-functionally with non-technical stakeholders
• Experience working with real-time or high-volume data environments
