Data Architect

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into data architecture designs
• Create and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models
• Design and implement data integration solutions to ensure smooth data flow between systems
• Develop and enforce data governance practices and standards
• Define data quality standards and implement data cleansing and validation processes
• Collaborate with development teams to implement efficient and optimized database schemas
• Ensure data security and privacy by implementing access controls and encryption measures
• Participate in data migration and integration projects
• Perform data analysis and create reports and visualizations to support data-driven decision-making
• Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in data architecture and management

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Proven experience as a Data Architect or in a similar role
• Strong understanding of data modeling techniques
• Experience with data integration and ETL processes
• Knowledge of data governance practices and standards
• Familiarity with data quality management principles and methodologies
• Proficiency in SQL and database development
• Experience with database management systems such as Oracle, SQL Server, or MySQL
• Knowledge of data security and privacy measures
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
