About the role
Responsibilities
- Translate business processes and technology needs into data and analytic enablement solutions
- Enforce data standards and best practices in data management
- Deliver trusted data source improvements and support continuous data design optimization
- Contribute to data design validation of all models and participate in proof of concept activities
- Create technical specifications including interface designs, architecture diagrams, and security systems
- Test architectural designs of components from a functional point of view
Requirements
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Systems Analysis, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in data design and architecture
- Recent experience in data modeling (conceptual, logical, and physical), data profiling, and data quality analysis
- Knowledge of data governance and master/reference data management (MDM) programs
- Proficiency in SQL Server, SQL query language, and E/R Studio data modeling tools
- Experience working within agile delivery teams
- Strong communication, collaboration, and persuasion skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of TOGAF and DAMA DMBoK v.2
- Experience with MDM tools (e.g., Precisely Enter Works) and cataloging tools (e.g., Collibra)
- Understanding of large data store technologies such as Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, and Data Hubs
- Knowledge of XML, JSON, Python, and API integration architecture
- Experience with SAP database technologies (ERP, HANA, etc.)
