About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain enterprise-level data architecture, including conceptual, logical, and physical data models
- Design and implement data pipelines, ETL processes, and integration strategies for structured and unstructured data
- Establish data governance frameworks and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations
- Optimize database performance, storage, and retrieval processes for high availability and scalability
- Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Assess and recommend new tools, platforms, and technologies for data management and analytics
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer/IT or a relevant Engineering discipline
- 10+ years of experience in data processing, analytics, and ETL data transformation
- Proficiency in at least one language: Python, C#, C++, F#, or Java
- Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases, including query development and optimization
- Demonstrated experience with Snowflake, Qlik Replicate, Fivetran, or Azure Data Explorer
- Cloud Azure experience (ADX, ADF, Databricks)
- Expertise with Airflow, Qlik, Fivetran, or Azure Data Factory
- Experience with DBT scripting for Snowflake management
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with the Airtable platform
- Working knowledge of Azure Databricks
- Working knowledge of various data storage technologies
- Experience with big data tools (e.g., Hadoop, MongoDB, Kafka, HDFS)
- Knowledge of Container Technologies (OpenShift, Docker, Kubernetes)
