Data Architect

Responsibilities

• Shape and deliver the Enterprise data architecture strategy with a focus on Private Markets, Real Assets, and Infrastructure.
• Define and own the Enterprise data architecture for investment operations, including fund structures, portfolio company data, and valuations.
• Design scalable, domain-oriented data models reflecting the complexity of Real Assets, Private Credit, and Infrastructure asset classes.
• Produce and maintain architectural artifacts, including Entity Relationship models and conceptual/logical data models.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams across engineering, product, and analytics within Agile frameworks.

Requirements

• Proven experience in Data Architecture, preferably with experience in Data Mesh or domain-oriented architecture patterns.
• Deep expertise in GCP data architecture, including BigQuery, Cloud Storage, and Dataplex.
• Advanced data modeling skills (conceptual, logical, and physical) with knowledge of Dimensional Modeling.
• Hands-on experience with dbt and Airflow design understanding.
• Strong understanding of data product architecture, data governance, security design, lineage, and integration patterns.
• Domain knowledge in Private Markets, specifically Real Assets and Real Estate.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to align data initiatives with business objectives.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Collibra or Power BI semantic layers.
• Knowledge of IAM/security and data migration projects.
• Background in financial services or asset management.
• TOGAF or other related architectural certifications.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments using JIRA and Confluence.
