Data Architect

Responsibilities

• Oversee the design process for new applications, including creating data flows, diagrams, models, and prototypes.
• Create technical documentation and provide technical support and training to relevant teams.
• Collaborate with systems analysts, software developers, and data managers to ensure successful production of analytical solutions.
• Offer viable architectural solutions to resolve complex business requirements and ensure seamless system integration.
• Strategize and build releases for future upgrades, maintenance, and system scalability.
• Perform data profiling activities with subject matter experts to understand source data.
• Lead complex, large-scale analytical solution implementations.

Requirements

• Bachelor or MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or Information Technology.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in data and solution architecture.
• AWS Cloud Practitioner certification is required.
• Proficiency in AWS (S3, EC2), Python, Snowflake, and SQL.
• Experience with BitBucket, PowerDesigner, and Control M Scheduler.
• Strong experience in data curation and preparation for visualization tools such as Cognos or Tableau.
• Proven ability to structure complex analysis and drive business insights.

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS Solution Architect certification.
• Experience with ETL/ELT and Data Warehouse solutions.
