Data & Application Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide consulting and analysis of business requirements, processes, and system gaps in the SPACE and eCAP domains
• Design and optimize scalable data pipelines and ETL processes
• Build and maintain efficient data architectures and infrastructures
• Collaborate closely with Functional Architects and Engineers to deliver high-performance data solutions
• Develop and enhance user documentation and training materials
• Lead technical aspects of projects, business cases, and proof of concepts (POCs)
• Monitor and introduce new technologies and industry trends in the SPC and Data Engineering domains
• Ensure data quality and validation through appropriate services and tools

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of IT-relevant work experience, OR 5+ years of experience without a degree
• Strong expertise in Data Engineering & Integration (ETL Services/Tools, Databases, SQL/NSQL)
• Proficiency in data structures such as XML, XSLT, JSON, and YAML
• Programming proficiency in at least one language: Python, Rust, Java, C++, or C#
• Knowledge of system architecture and interface development
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SPC tools and software such as camLine, JMP, or SAS
• Knowledge of SPC methods, including statistical methods for production control, control charts, and action plans
