Data Annotation Lead

Responsibilities

• Build and lead a world-class in-house data annotation team
• Manage the people side of data annotations, ensuring high quality and variety
• Create detailed documentation and data annotation processes
• Work closely with Machine Learning, Software Engineering, and Data teams to define frameworks and tools
• Perform hands-on data annotation during the design phase of new experiments

Requirements

• Clear written and verbal communication skills to guide annotators
• Proven ability to manage unexpected challenges and prioritize competing requests
• Strong stakeholder management skills across engineering and support teams
• Intermediate understanding of Machine Learning (ML)
• Ability to work in an organized manner while maintaining high speed

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience leading data annotation teams
• Technical skills to build custom tools for data annotation
• Ability to leverage AI to improve annotation productivity
