Data and Information Systems Specialist

Responsibilities

• Manage data collection, entry, and maintenance to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency within the database.
• Process annual gifts, securities, and pledges, ensuring proper documentation and timely gift receipts.
• Conduct periodic data audits and validation checks to identify and rectify discrepancies.
• Generate regular and ad hoc reports to support fundraising, alumni relations, and donor stewardship.
• Collaborate with the Business Office to reconcile accounts and resolve data errors.
• Train and oversee student employees assisting with data entry projects.
• Maintain compliance with data protection regulations and CASE management reporting standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or an equivalent mix of education and experience.
• 1-2 years of experience in data entry, auditing, analysis, or reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and proven accuracy in handling sensitive information.
• Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in an on-site environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience or familiarity with fundraising, accounting, banking, finance, or customer service.
• Ability to learn new information systems and digital platforms quickly.
