Data Analytics & Integrations Specialist

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Met Group Analytics team on BI activities, design, functional analysis, upgrading and maintenance
• Define user requirements and translate them into technical specifications
• Improve existing systems and implement new applications to maximize productivity
• Perform data modeling and database development using PL/SQL (Oracle and MS SQL Server)
• Develop and maintain SQL and Python scripts for data analytics and process automation
• Transform information into effective visual presentations and data visualizations
• Manage integrations between business applications, data platforms, and Databricks
• Develop and maintain operational automations built in Azure Databricks

Requirements

• BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, or related field
• 3-5 years of experience as a SQL/Python Developer
• Strong expertise in data modeling principles (conceptual, logical, and physical)
• Proficiency in web services technologies (REST, JSON, XML, SOAP)
• Strong knowledge of Oracle Database, SQL/PLSQL, and Microsoft SQL Server
• Experience with Databricks, Python, Power BI, and Power Query
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Power Query, Power Pivot)
• Knowledge of REST APIs and Microsoft Power Automate
• Fluency in Italian and a strong command of English

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with big data technologies (Spark, Kafka, Flink, Hadoop, HDFS, S3)
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure data platforms (Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Key Vault)
• Familiarity with Java, Salesforce development (Apex, Flows, Triggers), and modern front-end technologies
• Understanding of cloud infrastructure and security concepts (VPC, IAM)
• Experience within the energy sector
