Data Analytics & Insights Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and own the use of data and insights to set and monitor strategies, initiatives, and performance metrics to drive business outcomes in Commercial Insurance Asia.
• Monitor underwriting and broker performance data, including monthly tracking of submissions, quotes, binds, and broker growth.
• Design, build, and manage reporting tools and dashboards for critical underwriting performance metrics across various channels and segments.
• Drive data accuracy and quality by interrogating data, highlighting discrepancies, and managing updates across underwriting and pricing platforms.
• Partner with global and local data, analytics, and operations teams to improve data insights and support the rollout of new global tools.
• Collaborate with brokers to validate and interpret data, ensuring accuracy for informed business decisions.
• Champion a data-driven culture through staff training and support on dashboards and reports.

Requirements

• Extensive working experience within the Commercial Insurance industry.
• Proven experience in data dashboard design and reporting tool management.
• Strong ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders, including Underwriting, Customer Distribution Management, and Global functions.
• Ability to analyze economic trends, market forces, and competitor dynamics to influence business priorities.
