Data Analytics Engineering Engineer (AI/ML)

Responsibilities

• Identify, diagnose, and resolve manufacturing process issues related to quality excursions and cost improvement.
• Apply computer vision algorithms, including object detection and image segmentation, to inspect production lines for defects.
• Build, train, and validate machine learning models to address challenges in defect detection and process optimization.
• Deploy trained models into production environments such as APIs, edge devices, or embedded systems.
• Design and develop scalable GenAI applications using Large Language Models (LLMs) tailored for manufacturing use cases.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field.
• 0–2 years of experience in data analytics, data engineering, or machine learning.
• Proficiency in SQL for data querying and Python for programming.
• Experience with ML frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow/Keras.
• Knowledge of Computer Vision libraries like OpenCV, Detectron2, or MMDetection.
• Experience with model deployment using Docker, Kubernetes, or edge devices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to building ML models using scikit-learn.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Spotfire, Power BI, or Tableau.
• Familiarity with version control tools like Git.
• Exposure to ML lifecycle tools such as MLflow, DVC, or Kubeflow.
