Data & Analytics Engineer

About the Company

Forus is building an AI-powered network that connects doctors, pharmacies, payers, and biopharma to accelerate new science to patients. Our platform automates the complexity between a doctor prescribing a medicine and a patient starting treatment, including insurance coverage, financial assistance, and supply chain navigation.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain core data models for internal analytics and client-facing insights
• Design and operate data pipelines to transform raw sources into analytics-ready tables
• Create dashboards and reporting tools to drive performance visibility across product, ops, and GTM
• Define and enforce metric consistency across teams, including core business KPIs
• Help improve and scale the analytics stack using GCP BigQuery, Dataform, Fivetran, and Postgres
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate data needs into reliable systems
• Contribute to internal data culture through documentation and code quality standards

Requirements

• 3–6 years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or technical data analyst roles
• Expert-level SQL skills
• Experience in a code-first environment (versioning, testing, documentation)
• Experience designing data models for usability and performance
• Familiarity with the modern data stack (dbt, Fivetran, Airflow, GCP/AWS/Snowflake, Metabase)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proven track record of delivering goals in fast-paced environments
