Data Analytics Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute AI/ML-driven projects to support Corning's Manufacturing 4.0 strategy.
• Design, prototype, and deploy predictive, prescriptive, and descriptive AI/ML solutions for manufacturing challenges.
• Translate complex manufacturing and business requirements into data and algorithmic problems.
• Cleanse, transform, and prepare large, diverse manufacturing datasets for model training and analysis.
• Explore and apply state-of-the-art ML and deep learning methods, including LLMs, CNNs, RNNs, and NLP.
• Implement data pipelines, model monitoring, and visualization frameworks to democratize analytics across teams.
• Communicate project progress and technical findings to both business stakeholders and technical audiences.

Requirements

• Master's degree (PhD preferred) in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Data Science, or a related engineering field.
• Specialization in AI/ML.
• Proven track record in manufacturing analytics, process control, or laboratory environments.
• Experience in end-to-end AI/ML project development and industrial applications.
