Data Analytics/Business Analysis/Power BI

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements using structured formats like data dictionaries and business glossaries
• Translate business needs into KPIs, data models, and reporting frameworks
• Develop and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and validation
• Design and build interactive dashboards using Power BI
• Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights
• Ensure data accuracy through validation, reconciliation, and quality frameworks
• Automate reporting and workflows using SQL, Power Automate, and Excel
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Finance, Sales, Operations, and IT
• Support financial and operational reporting such as P&L, forecasting, and performance tracking
• Present insights clearly to stakeholders

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field
• 5–8 years of experience in BI, Data Analytics, or Business Analysis
• Strong SQL expertise including joins, aggregations, and performance tuning
• Advanced Power BI skills including DAX, data modelling, and dashboarding
• Experience working with ERP/CRM systems such as SAP or Oracle
• Strong understanding of data modelling concepts like star schema and relationships
• Experience in structured documentation and data quality frameworks
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
