Data Analytics and Initiatives Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Generate strategic intelligence through deep data analysis to drive continuous improvement and institutional decision-making.
• Define analytical approaches, methodological designs, and scopes to ensure reliable diagnostics.
• Integrate and clean data from national, regional, and local institutional sources to ensure consistency and traceability.
• Perform advanced statistical, predictive, and prescriptive analysis using Data Science and Machine Learning models.
• Develop information products, including dashboards, reports, and solutions to support academic and operational quality.
• Communicate findings through executive reports and data narratives to provide actionable recommendations for leaders.
• Manage academic information and documentation to comply with institutional guidelines and accreditation requirements (SEP, SACS, FIMPES).
• Lead, guide, and develop the data analysis and intelligence team, promoting a culture of technical excellence.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Actuarial Science, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in data analysis roles.
• Proven experience in team leadership and management.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong knowledge of statistics and Machine Learning.
• Proficiency with data visualization tools such as BI, Data Studio, or Tableau.
• Excellent analytical, synthesis, and effective communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
