Data Analyst/Data Scientist (Pricing Analytics)

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain pricing tools and profitability models
• Grow total gross margin dollars by identifying pricing actions to improve conversion rates and margin rates
• Forecast margins to understand the impact of promotional and seasonal pricing
• Monitor input costing changes and develop sensitivity analysis thresholds
• Present pricing analysis including price sensitivity and elasticity at strategy meetings
• Communicate and implement pricing changes through the command chain
• Lead pricing-related projects by defining deliverables and timelines
• Utilize Marketing Mix Modeling to assess marketing impact on sales and optimize spend
• Assist R&D efforts with market views and feedback

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance, operations, research, statistics, math, economics, or related discipline
• 2-4 years of experience
• Financial management experience with planning, forecasting, and business analysis
• Experience within CPG or Retail industries
• Proficiency with Python, R, Excel pivot tables, SQL, and PowerPoint
• In-depth knowledge of BI tools and practical experience analyzing data and performance metrics
• Ability to work cross-functionally to drive analysis-driven change
