Data Analyst

Responsibilities

• Analyze cybersecurity and operational datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and patterns
• Develop and maintain dashboards and visualizations using Power BI or Tableau
• Perform data extraction, validation, and transformation using Python and SQL
• Automate manual reporting and analytics workflows
• Conduct exploratory data analysis to support operational monitoring
• Collaborate with cybersecurity analysts to translate requirements into insights
• Develop metrics related to cyber activity and threat telemetry
• Document data sources, methodologies, and analytical processes

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with minimum 9 years experience (or equivalent experience)
• Possession of a relevant certification (e.g., CASP+, CISSP, CySA+, etc.)
• Proficiency in Python and Pandas for data analysis
• Experience writing and troubleshooting SQL queries
• Experience building dashboards in Power BI or Tableau
• Familiarity with cybersecurity data sources like SIEM or EDR/XDR
• Familiarity with machine learning concepts
• U.S. citizenship required
• Active Top Secret security clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Splunk, Microsoft Defender, or Palo Alto Networks
• Familiarity with Databricks or PySpark
• Exposure to anomaly detection and statistical analysis
• Experience supporting federal, DoD, or DoS environments
• Experience leveraging AI tools or copilots for data analysis
