Data Analyst

Responsibilities

• Leverage database querying, data manipulation, and predictive analytic techniques to improve mutual fund leads distribution
• Create new tools and capabilities to increase automation and data interconnection using next-generation technology
• Provide analytical support on ad hoc requests from various stakeholders
• Participate in specialized strategic projects
• Create and maintain concise reports for senior leadership to support data-driven business decisions

Requirements

• Enrolled in an undergraduate degree in math, computer science, data analytics, or a related field
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in programming or database programs such as SQL, SAS, R, or Python
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and a passion for learning about finance and investing

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau
• Knowledge of and experience in the investment industry
• Demonstrated leadership experience in a cross-functional environment
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
