Data Analyst

Responsibilities

• Analyze key data sets related to Capital & Liquidity Measurement and Reporting to support data-driven decision making
• Prototype, test, and operationalize dashboards, KPIs, and visualizations
• Investigate business processes and perform root cause analysis to resolve data or system issues
• Support product owners with planning, prioritization, and implementation of key initiatives
• Develop agile metrics to increase team maturity and oversight
• Communicate findings and collaborate with various Finance and Risk functions to implement solutions

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Canadian post-secondary institution focusing on Business, Finance, Data Science, Computer Science, Math, or Statistics
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to apply empirical thinking to data
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities
• Must be returning to school after the work term or require the term as a mandatory component for graduation

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Capital, Liquidity, or Credit & Liquidity Risk Management
• Experience with business analysis processes, including requirements gathering and documentation
• Familiarity with agile or design thinking methodologies
• Experience with Confluence or Jira
• Interest in the financial services or FinTech industry
