Data Analyst - Product Operations & Governance

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain executive reporting dashboards for product portfolio health, milestone tracking, sprint progress, and resource utilization.
• Use Power BI, Excel, and AI-enabled tools to automate and enhance reporting processes.
• Create visually compelling dashboards and presentations for senior leaders to highlight trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Analyze data from JIRA, portfolio management tools, and financial trackers to identify performance trends and delivery risks.
• Perform ad hoc analysis regarding team capacity, milestone adherence, and portfolio effectiveness.
• Translate complex data into concise executive-level insights and recommendations.
• Leverage AI tools to improve reporting efficiency and support executive storytelling.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Analytics, Finance, Statistics, or a related field.
• 5–7+ years of experience in a Data Analyst, Business Analyst, Reporting Analyst, or Product/Portfolio Analytics role.
• Proven experience with Power BI for dashboard development and data visualization.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, complex formulas, and data analysis.
• Hands-on experience working with JIRA data for reporting, sprint metrics, and delivery tracking.
• Demonstrated experience preparing executive-level dashboards and leadership reporting.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex data into simple business insights.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting product management, PMO, governance, or portfolio operations.
• Familiarity with Confluence, Tableau, or SQL.
• Experience using AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, or Power BI AI features.
• Knowledge of Agile delivery metrics, sprint reporting, and capacity planning.
• Experience in a fast-paced technology, SaaS, fintech, or enterprise operations environment.
