Data Analyst

Responsibilities

• Implement and enforce data governance policies, standards, and business rules to ensure long-term data integrity.
• Perform routine and ad-hoc audits of datasets to validate accurate hierarchy, taxonomy, and attribute classification.
• Authorize and maintain master data attributes, ensuring consistent application of approved taxonomies across reporting views.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to define and operationalize target-state architecture for syndicated POS data lakes.
• Define and monitor ingestion controls, validation rules, and restatement processes within the data lake.
• Support root-cause analysis of data quality issues by working with Data Stewards and upstream producers.
• Enable the Analytics team to focus on insight generation by reducing the need for manual data cleanup and validation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Math, Statistics, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL.
• Advanced proficiency in Power BI.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry.
• Experience working within Azure-based data lake or lakehouse environments (e.g., Databricks).
• Strong organizational, project management, and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
