About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform data analysis to build audit scorecards and analyze compliance activity trends.
- Conduct trend, root-cause, and variance analysis to reduce recurring entry errors and mitigate risks.
- Automate and simplify recurring reporting and data cleansing using Excel, Power Query, and Power BI.
- Build analytical models to inform strategic trade decisions, including duty impact and FTA utilization.
- Conduct regular audits of import and export activities to implement corrective action plans.
- Maintain HTS classifications, country of origin (COO), and marking requirements in Oracle GTM.
- Perform FTA analysis and prepare/audit certificates of origin and documentation.
- Communicate with brokers and forwarders to ensure appropriate supporting documentation and regulatory compliance.
Requirements
- Two-year degree in International Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, Finance, or a similar field.
- 3+ years of experience in data analytics, trade compliance, supply chain, or regulated processes.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, Power Query, and complex formulas.
- Experience with Power BI for data modeling, dashboards, and reporting.
- Intermediate knowledge of ERP systems, Global Trade Compliance software, or Transportation Management Systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Oracle or Oracle GTM.
- Knowledge of the Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) and Export Control Classification codes.
- Professional certifications such as LCB, CCS/CCLS, or CGBP.
- Proficiency in SQL or other querying languages.
- Bilingual skills in Spanish.
