Data Analyst

Responsibilities

• Collect, integrate, and analyze complex datasets to uncover insights that support mission objectives for CISA.
• Develop intuitive, interactive, and visually compelling dashboards using Power BI for diverse stakeholders.
• Define data requirements and ensure data is properly stored, accessible, and aligned with client needs.
• Create and maintain data governance documentation, tools, and templates.
• Collaborate with non-technical stakeholders to gather and refine requirements.
• Identify and document data quality issues and provide recommendations for remediation.

Requirements

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Two or more years of experience in data engineering, data visualization, data integration, or database management.
• Experience ensuring data accuracy and usability using tools such as SQL, Python, or R.
• Proven experience creating data visualizations and dashboards with Power BI.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in SQL, including querying and joining large datasets.
• Understanding of relational database design and structures.
• Hands-on experience with data wrangling and analysis in R or Python.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working on cross-functional teams.
