About the role

Responsibilities

  • Design and maintain data models and datasets used for transaction monitoring, customer risk assessment, and financial crime investigations
  • Own end-to-end delivery of FinCrime analytics solutions, including requirements gathering, extraction, transformation, and deployment
  • Develop and optimize detection logic and monitoring rules for anomaly detection and behavioral patterns
  • Perform data quality checks and controls to ensure the accuracy and auditability of FinCrime datasets
  • Build dashboards and analytical tools in Sigma to support investigations and risk assessment workflows
  • Collaborate with investigators and compliance analysts to identify data gaps and deliver actionable insights
  • Contribute to the automation and continuous improvement of screening and monitoring processes

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of experience in Data or Business Analytics, preferably within FinCrime, Compliance, Risk, or Financial Services
  • Advanced SQL skills with the ability to query complex datasets
  • Experience building data pipelines, transformations, and analytical datasets
  • Solid understanding of financial crime frameworks
  • Fluency in English
  • Experience with modern data stack tools such as dbt, Google Cloud BigQuery, Sigma, or Git is a plus
  • Knowledge of Python, payment flows, FX, or banking products is desirable
