About the role
Responsibilities
- Leverage data engineering and BI development techniques to pipeline, automate, analyze, and visualize data
- Develop automated reports and provide visibility into KPIs, performance drivers, and trends
- Build and manage data pipelines integrating structured and unstructured data sources
- Design and institute automated workflows using SQL, Python, Databricks, Alteryx, and Spotfire to ensure data integrity
- Develop ETL processes and maintain application integrations across multiple systems
- Coordinate with Field and Engineering teams to analyze drivers impacting LOE, Capital, and Production
- Identify process inefficiencies and provide solutions for automation and optimization
- Mentor engineers and analysts on data engineering and BI development techniques
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Data/Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in a technical role
- Proficiency in relational databases and generating complex data visualizations
- Required experience with Spotfire and PowerBI applications
- Required experience with ETL processes and workflow automation (e.g., Databricks, Alteryx)
- Advanced proficiency in the MS Office suite
- Ability to work under limited supervision and collaborate with technical professionals
Preferred Qualifications
- Understanding of programming languages such as Python, R, or Matlab
- Subject Matter Expertise within functions applicable to the Data Analyst role
