Data Analyst

Responsibilities

• Leverage data engineering and BI development techniques to pipeline, automate, analyze, and visualize data
• Develop automated reports and provide visibility into KPIs, performance drivers, and trends
• Build and manage data pipelines integrating structured and unstructured data sources
• Design and institute automated workflows using SQL, Python, Databricks, Alteryx, and Spotfire to ensure data integrity
• Develop ETL processes and maintain application integrations across multiple systems
• Coordinate with Field and Engineering teams to analyze drivers impacting LOE, Capital, and Production
• Identify process inefficiencies and provide solutions for automation and optimization
• Mentor engineers and analysts on data engineering and BI development techniques

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Data/Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in a technical role
• Proficiency in relational databases and generating complex data visualizations
• Required experience with Spotfire and PowerBI applications
• Required experience with ETL processes and workflow automation (e.g., Databricks, Alteryx)
• Advanced proficiency in the MS Office suite
• Ability to work under limited supervision and collaborate with technical professionals

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of programming languages such as Python, R, or Matlab
• Subject Matter Expertise within functions applicable to the Data Analyst role
