Data Analyst

Responsibilities

• Support operational and strategic decision-making for safety, production, and cost through data pipelines and business intelligence
• Develop automated reports and conduct analyses to provide visibility into KPIs and performance drivers
• Build and manage data pipelines integrating structured and unstructured data sources
• Design and institute automated workflows using SQL, Python, Databricks, Snowflake, and Alteryx to ensure data integrity
• Develop and maintain ETL processes and application integrations across multiple systems
• Analyze drivers impacting LOE, Capital, and Production in coordination with Operations
• Evaluate current data entry and QC processes to provide optimization recommendations
• Collaborate with cross-functional departments including field operations, IT, and accounting

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in a technical role
• Proficiency in working with relational databases and generating complex data visualizations
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Spotfire, Tableau, or PowerBI
• Experience with ETL processes and workflow automation (e.g., Databricks, Alteryx)
• Advanced proficiency in the MS Office suite
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical staff

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of programming languages such as Python, R, or Matlab
• Advanced data handling skills including complex data integration
• Subject Matter Expertise in functions applicable to a Data Analyst role
