Data Analyst 4

Responsibilities

• Analyze, document, and evaluate current clinical workflows across healthcare service units to identify gaps and standardization opportunities.
• Extract, structure, and analyze clinical and operational data from Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
• Translate clinical questions into meaningful data analyses and actionable insights for leadership.
• Validate extracted data against reliable internal and external sources to ensure data integrity.
• Perform user-focused validation and testing of EHR updates, enhancements, and system changes.
• Serve as a clinical point of contact for EHR-related questions and collaborate with medical staff and technical teams.
• Develop reports, dashboards, and visualizations to support evidence-based decision-making.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience structuring unclassified medical data and mapping it to standardized medical vocabularies.
• Extensive experience extracting and validating data from Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
• Proven ability to document clinical workflows and data management procedures within multidisciplinary environments.
• Experience applying national EHR standards to EHR products.
• Strong ability to communicate complex clinical and analytical findings to medical staff and non-technical stakeholders.
• Must be able to work onsite in Richmond, Virginia.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

• Clinical or medical background in nursing, medicine, pharmacy, or a related healthcare discipline.
• Experience in correctional healthcare or other constrained multidisciplinary clinical environments.
• Local candidates are strongly preferred.

Benefits

• Compensation: 1099 Contract role paying $36 – $56 per hour.
• Duration: 12-month assignment (07/01/2026 – 06/30/2027).
