Data & AI Engineer

Responsibilities

• Support the development of AI and machine learning pipelines, including data preparation, model experimentation, and deployment.
• Contribute to the implementation of LLM-based solutions using open-source models like Mistral or LLaMA.
• Assist in building NLP solutions for information extraction, text classification, semantic search, and chatbot development.
• Help develop and expose ML models through APIs using Python frameworks such as FastAPI.
• Participate in AI workload deployment on cloud platforms like Azure or AWS.
• Support the integration of AI services into cloud-native, serverless, or event-driven architectures.
• Contribute to testing, documentation, and the application of DevOps and version control best practices.

Requirements

• Completed Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, AI, Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field.
• Good knowledge of Python and a basic understanding of REST APIs.
• Understanding of machine learning fundamentals.
• Exposure to NLP, transformers, embeddings, or Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Familiarity with Git and collaborative software development practices.
• Awareness of cloud platforms and interest in learning deployment and monitoring.
• Strong communication skills in English or French.
• Analytical mindset and a strong willingness to learn new technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with vector databases, semantic search, and embeddings.
• Knowledge of event-driven architectures (e.g., Azure Functions, Service Bus).
• Experience with Docker, CI/CD, or Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Ansible).
• Proficiency in traditional software development (Java, .NET, TypeScript, or Spring Boot).
