Data Acquisition Lead

Responsibilities

• Lead the acquisition, integration, and quality management of non-CRF (external/vendor) clinical trial data to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Own the design, setup, and ongoing management of non-CRF data, including central labs, imaging, wearables, and precision medicine.
• Define and maintain vendor data transfer specifications and agreements aligned with study protocols and downstream data needs.
• Oversee the timely and compliant ingestion of external datasets, proactively resolving formatting, mapping, and data quality issues.
• Lead reconciliation activities throughout the study lifecycle to prevent delays and ensure readiness for database lock and inspections.
• Partner with global cross-functional study teams to manage external clinical trial data and metadata standards.
• Drive process improvements, automation, and standardization to improve operational efficiency and vendor integration performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• 8-15 years of clinical execution experience.
• Strong knowledge of EDC systems such as Rave and Veeva.
• Proven experience in vendor management and oversight.

Preferred Qualifications

• 8 years of work experience in life sciences or a medically related field.
• 3 years of biopharmaceutical clinical research experience within a biotech, pharmaceutical, or CRO company.
• Experience working across clinical trial teams in multiple geographies to deliver global trials.
• Experience managing external vendors such as CROs, central labs, and imaging vendors.
