DAS & Small Cell Technician

Responsibilities

• Install DAS equipment including antennas, coaxial cable, and couplers
• Interpret blueprints, design drawings, and project specifications
• Troubleshoot RF and fiber line issues
• Terminate coaxial cable and perform line sweeps and PIM testing
• Maintain project timelines and report job status daily
• Ensure all work adheres to safety and quality guidelines

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Proficiency with RF test equipment like spectrum analyzers and power meters
• Familiarity with wireless standards such as LTE, 5G, and Wi-Fi
• Ability to obtain scissor lift certification
• Ability to travel 80-100% of the time, including out of state for months
• Ability to work in various environments including heights and confined spaces
• Valid driver's license

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical certifications in RF engineering, telecommunications, or electronics
• Experience installing and troubleshooting Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS)
• Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
