About the role
Responsibilities
- Install DAS equipment including antennas, coaxial cable, and couplers
- Interpret blueprints, design drawings, and project specifications
- Troubleshoot RF and fiber line issues
- Terminate coaxial cable and perform line sweeps and PIM testing
- Maintain project timelines and report job status daily
- Ensure all work adheres to safety and quality guidelines
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- Proficiency with RF test equipment like spectrum analyzers and power meters
- Familiarity with wireless standards such as LTE, 5G, and Wi-Fi
- Ability to obtain scissor lift certification
- Ability to travel 80-100% of the time, including out of state for months
- Ability to work in various environments including heights and confined spaces
- Valid driver's license
Preferred Qualifications
- Technical certifications in RF engineering, telecommunications, or electronics
- Experience installing and troubleshooting Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS)
- Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
