About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide high-level programmatic support to a DARPA Program Director managing high-visibility R&D programs.
- Serve as the principal coordination point for all programmatic actions, including tracking and reconciling large-scale program funding.
- Prepare and staff acquisition documentation, funding actions, and executive correspondence.
- Ensure compliance with DoD financial management regulations, acquisition policies, and audit requirements.
- Manage the Program Director’s calendar, priorities, and daily schedule in a high-tempo environment.
- Coordinate meetings, secure facilities, and classified spaces as required.
- Prepare briefing materials, read-ahead packages, and executive summaries for senior leadership engagements.
- Track suspense items, action items, and deliverables across multiple stakeholders.
- Manage sensitive and classified information in accordance with strict security protocols.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Public Administration, or a related field.
- 2-5+ years of experience supporting DoD programs, acquisitions, or executive leadership.
- Strong familiarity with DoD administrative processes, task management systems, and correspondence protocols.
- Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
- Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for executive-level briefing.

- Familiarity with advanced technology programs such as AI, cyber, autonomy, space, or emerging tech.
- Demonstrated excellence in executive scheduling, task management, and front office operations.
