Damper Application & Development Engineer

Responsibilities

• Manage the product application and development of commercial vehicle shock absorbers to ensure compliance with customer, safety, and regulatory requirements
• Review customer technical specifications, drawings, and technical agreements
• Lead the introduction and promotion of commercial vehicle shock absorber technologies
• Oversee application development and maintain relevant technical materials
• Assist in the manufacturing of new prototypes for commercial vehicle shock absorbers
• Coordinate new product project development and manage engineering changes for series products
• Provide technical support to other departments and participate in cost and production optimization

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above in vehicle engineering or mechanical design
• 3+ years of experience in commercial vehicle chassis components design and application development
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Creo 9 software
• Familiarity with IATF 16949, ISO14001, and OHSAS18001 quality systems
• Fluent English communication skills (reading, writing, and daily verbal communication)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge and experience in DFMEA methodology and IQ-RM
• Familiarity with commercial vehicle chassis suspension and steering system technologies
