Dairyworker

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment used in the cheese manufacturing process
• Follow all food safety procedures during equipment operation
• Perform manual lifting, stacking, and pulling of materials up to 50lbs
• Utilize electric pallet jacks to move items across the production floor
• Participate in the setup, takedown, and sanitation of equipment and parts
• Work safely around sanitizing chemicals, including high concentrations of acids and alkalis
• Complete various tasks related to successful cheese production in a clean environment

Requirements

• Physically able to stand for long periods and perform repetitive movements
• Ability to lift up to 50LBS on a regular basis
• Ability to operate electric power jacks, counterbalance forklifts, high reach forklifts, or clamp trucks
• Ability to work in temperate and/or refrigerated environments
• Availability to work on-call shifts in a 24/7 facility

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in production or warehousing environments
• Ability to learn new processes quickly and work independently
