Dairy Operator

Responsibilities

• Operate dairy blending systems including homogenizers, filters, and metal detectors
• Clean equipment and work areas according to the Master Sanitation Schedule
• Follow manufacturing instructions and precisely weigh raw materials
• Execute QC and sampling procedures and report deviations
• Package and sample products according to customer requirements
• Perform transactions on AS400 terminals and handheld scanners
• Adhere to Kosher, USDA, ISO9001, GMP, and HACCP procedures

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Prior operational experience in food, flavor, pharmaceutical, or chemical industries preferred
• Ability to learn computer transactions via menu screens
• Ability to stand, walk, and climb stairs
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs routinely and up to 100 lbs with assistance
