D365 FO Senior Technical Consultant

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, customize, and maintain Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations applications using X++.
• Collaborate with functional consultants and business analysts to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Integrate D365 F&O with enterprise platforms including Power Platform, Azure Logic Apps, and API frameworks.
• Manage code promotion, deployments, and version control using Azure DevOps and Lifecycle Services (LCS).
• Perform performance tuning, troubleshooting, and technical support for production and non-production environments.
• Ensure all developments adhere to Microsoft best practices, security standards, and ITIL-based processes.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of D365 F&O architecture, data models, and extensibility frameworks.
• Proven experience with X++ development and Azure DevOps.
• Proficiency with SQL Server and data integration tools (Dataverse, Synapse Link, REST APIs).
• Hands-on experience with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate) and Microsoft Fabric.
• Experience with reporting tools such as SSRS and Power BI.
• Understanding of LCS project management, monitoring, and deployment strategies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with core ERP processes including general ledger, procurement, inventory, and manufacturing.
• Background working in manufacturing, retail, logistics, or professional services industries.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing within Azure DevOps.
• Knowledge of data governance, compliance, and audit trails in a finance context.
