Cylinder Maintenance

Responsibilities

• Load and unload compressed gas cylinders and products onto route trucks and trailers
• Operate forklifts and roll cylinders to move inventory throughout the facility
• Sort empty cylinders by type and assist with inventory management
• Perform basic cylinder maintenance, including painting, labeling, and cleaning
• Handle cryogenic liquid cylinders and hazardous materials (HAZMAT) in compliance with safety protocols
• Review customer orders and pull items from inventory for delivery
• Complete all required documentation and forms accurately to ensure product traceability
• Maintain a clean and orderly workplace through proper housekeeping procedures
• Adhere to all safety rules, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and Flame Retardant (FR) clothing

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Physical ability to roll cylinders weighing 200+ lbs and lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor conditions throughout the year
• Ability to work flexible hours within 2-3 hours of scheduled start and end times

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing or plant environment
• Experience operating a forklift
