About the role
Responsibilities
- Load and unload compressed gas cylinders and other products onto route trucks and trailers
- Operate forklifts and manually roll cylinders to move inventory
- Sort empty cylinders by type and assist with inventory checks
- Review customer orders, pull items from inventory, and prepare them for delivery
- Perform basic maintenance including painting, labeling, and cleaning cylinders
- Handle cryogenic liquid cylinders and hazardous materials (HAZMAT) in compliance with safety protocols
- Complete all required documentation and forms accurately to ensure proper labeling and lot numbers
- Maintain a clean and orderly workplace through consistent housekeeping procedures
- Adhere to all safety rules, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and Flame Retardant (FR) clothing
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Physical ability to roll cylinders weighing 200+ lbs and lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor conditions throughout the year
- Ability to work flexible hours within 2-3 hours of scheduled start and end times
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing or plant environment
- Previous experience operating a forklift
