Cylinder Handler

Responsibilities

• Load and unload compressed gas cylinders and other products onto route trucks and trailers
• Operate forklifts and manually roll cylinders to move inventory
• Sort empty cylinders by type and assist with inventory counts
• Review customer orders, pull items from inventory, and prepare them for delivery
• Perform basic cylinder maintenance, including painting, labeling, and cleaning work areas
• Handle cryogenic liquid cylinders and hazardous materials (HAZMAT) in compliance with safety protocols
• Complete all required documentation and forms accurately to ensure proper labeling and lot numbers
• Maintain a clean, orderly workplace and adhere to all company safety policies and PPE requirements

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to roll cylinders weighing 200+ lbs and lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor conditions throughout the year
• Ability to work flexible hours within 2-3 hours of scheduled start and end times

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing or plant environment
• Previous experience operating a forklift
