Cylinder Handler

Responsibilities

• Load and unload gas cylinders and related products onto route trucks and trailers
• Move cylinders by rolling and by operating a forklift
• Sort empty cylinders by type and verify quantities, styles, and product specifications
• Review customer orders, pull required items from inventory, and load products for delivery
• Perform basic cylinder maintenance, including painting, labeling, and cleaning the work area
• Assist with paperwork accompanying shipments
• Complete routine and non-routine daily and weekly assignments as directed

Requirements

• High school degree or GED
• 1+ year of experience in a plant or manufacturing environment
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to work the 2nd shift (03:00pm - 11:30pm)

• Strong mechanical background
