Cylinder Fill Technician II

Responsibilities

• Choose and prepare proper packaging for products and ensure containers meet DOT regulations and SOPs
• Set up, operate, and support trans-fill systems for pure inert gases and gas mixtures
• Perform fill calculations for weight and pressure and document all required product data
• Recover products from cylinders and perform detoxification as applicable
• Maintain raw material and finished product inventory levels to satisfy customer orders
• Perform minor reviews and preventive maintenance on equipment
• Adhere to all established safety procedures and maintain housekeeping of the work area

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 0-2 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Ability to lift at least 50lbs
• Strong mechanical skills and aptitude
• Ability to accurately perform basic arithmetic calculations
• Ability to work effectively in a teamwork environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the semiconductor or chemical/specialty gas field
• Military technical/mechanical rating or experience in the nuclear field
