About the role
Responsibilities
- Independently troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair cyclotron systems and radiosynthesis modules
- Perform electrical, electronic, mechanical, and computer-based maintenance tasks
- Service subsystems including high-voltage power supplies, vacuum systems, RF systems, target systems, and cooling systems
- Maintain and manage spare parts inventory and associated databases
- Collaborate with radioligand and radiopharmacy teams to ensure consistent radionuclide production
- Ensure adherence to Radiation Safety standards, cGMP requirements, and institutional SOPs
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, calibration logs, and technical documentation
- Train and oversee cyclotron operators and technical staff
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, physics, or a related technical field
- Minimum of four (4) years of experience in a PET production or PET radiopharmacy environment
- Ability to read and interpret electrical and electronic circuit diagrams
- Proficiency in RF systems, beam tuning, and cyclotron operational parameters
- Strong understanding of vacuum systems, cooling systems, and radiation safety principles
- Ability to obtain required certifications (Basic Knowledge for Cyclotron Engineers, Eclipse Systems, Radiation Safety, and cGMP)
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior completion of cyclotron-specific manufacturer training and certifications
