About the role

Responsibilities

  • Independently troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair cyclotron systems and radiosynthesis modules
  • Perform electrical, electronic, mechanical, and computer-based maintenance tasks
  • Service subsystems including high-voltage power supplies, vacuum systems, RF systems, target systems, and cooling systems
  • Maintain and manage spare parts inventory and associated databases
  • Collaborate with radioligand and radiopharmacy teams to ensure consistent radionuclide production
  • Ensure adherence to Radiation Safety standards, cGMP requirements, and institutional SOPs
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records, calibration logs, and technical documentation
  • Train and oversee cyclotron operators and technical staff

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, physics, or a related technical field
  • Minimum of four (4) years of experience in a PET production or PET radiopharmacy environment
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical and electronic circuit diagrams
  • Proficiency in RF systems, beam tuning, and cyclotron operational parameters
  • Strong understanding of vacuum systems, cooling systems, and radiation safety principles
  • Ability to obtain required certifications (Basic Knowledge for Cyclotron Engineers, Eclipse Systems, Radiation Safety, and cGMP)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior completion of cyclotron-specific manufacturer training and certifications
