About the role

Responsibilities

  • Drive HP's threat intelligence pipeline by collecting, processing, and operationalizing intelligence from internal and external sources.
  • Make intelligence actionable by pushing curated data into detection, response, and security tooling.
  • Power investigations by partnering with Incident Response analysts to provide contextual intelligence and malware analysis.
  • Brief decision makers by delivering intelligence reports and advisories that translate technical findings into business risk.
  • Identify gaps in processes, tooling, and technology to improve the threat intelligence function.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Cyber Threat Intelligence, Digital Forensics, Incident Response, or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience implementing and operating a Threat Intelligence Platform (TIP).
  • Proven track record of researching, tracking, and reporting on threat actor tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs).
  • Experience authoring technical intelligence reports, assessments, and advisories for both technical and leadership audiences.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Tool development and scripting experience in Python, Go, or PowerShell.
  • Prior experience as a threat intelligence analyst embedded in a Security Operations Center (SOC).
  • Hands-on experience with CrowdStrike or similar EDR platforms.
  • Experience performing malware analysis, network traffic analysis, or large-scale data set analysis.
