Cybersecurity Systems Analyst, Associate

Responsibilities

• Execute cybersecurity assessments, compliance, and validation frameworks to ensure regulatory standards and security effectiveness for USSOCOM and other government entities
• Perform cybersecurity site visits, inspections, scanning, remediation, and patch compliance reviews
• Assess organizational security posture and verify compliance with DoD, DIA, and USSOCOM guidance
• Identify common security risks by analyzing findings, developing metrics, and identifying trends
• Develop Plans of Action & Milestones (POA&Ms) and track remediation efforts
• Assist with required scanning and vulnerability management programs
• Maintain records documenting compliance with federal laws, directives, and policies
• Execute Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM) programs and track IAVA/IAVB compliance status
• Provide subject matter expertise for the development of cybersecurity mitigation strategies

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance
• Current DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+ CE, SSCP, GSEC)
• BA/BS degree
• 5+ years of relevant experience
• Working knowledge of the Risk Management Framework (RMF)
• Experience in system administration, architecture, or engineering
• Technical background in networking, identity management, Microsoft/Linux operating systems, or database management

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with US Combatant Commands (USCENTCOM/USSOCOM)
• Knowledge of Telos Xacta or Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Services (eMASS)
• Familiarity with DoD IA processes and policies (NIST, CNSS, etc.)
