About the role

Responsibilities

  • Manage cybersecurity projects throughout their complete lifecycle from initiation to closure
  • Establish and maintain project governance, controls, plans, schedules, and reporting mechanisms
  • Ensure project objectives, milestones, and deliverables are achieved on time and within scope
  • Monitor project quality and ensure compliance with organisational standards and security requirements
  • Identify, assess, and manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and scope changes
  • Coordinate and communicate with project boards, stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams
  • Plan, assign, and supervise project activities while balancing priorities and workloads
  • Organise and facilitate project meetings, workshops, and steering committees
  • Produce and maintain project documentation, including plans, schedules, logs, and status reports
  • Prepare and deliver management presentations, progress updates, and technical reports

Requirements

  • Master's degree or equivalent (EQF Level 7)
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant IT experience
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in project management
  • English proficiency at B2 level or higher
  • Valid EU RESTRICTED Security Clearance or willingness to undergo screening
  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity technologies, controls, and risk management
  • Knowledge of ISO 27001 and NIST Cybersecurity Framework
  • At least four internationally recognised certifications (two cybersecurity and two project/service management)
  • Experience with PM², PRINCE2, PMP, or ServiceNow

Preferred Qualifications

  • Broad architectural understanding of security solutions
  • Experience managing cybersecurity programmes, budgets, and investment portfolios
  • Experience working with European institutions, agencies, or international organisations
